Trying to install v16 Eval edition. Keeps remembering the old license path/key

Hi,
Our floating license for v15.1 ran out.
So we are trying to install and run v16 Eval until we renew/buy a/the license.
So I successfully installed v16 Eval.
But when I try to run the EA v16 installation , it tries to find the old license for v15.1.
How can I make the computer / Sparx forget that it ever had this license?

Tried many things.
Gave up.
But left with the problem.
Idea: to request from our IT dept a new / 2nd-hand computer that has never had licensed EA installed.
(But never solved the above bug.)

If you've purchased licenses for EA they don't run out, so I don't understand why you have a problem.

If you're running the v16 trial, it doesn't have the capability to read a license from anywhere. So again, your question just doesn't make sense.

Perhaps if you just go back to the basics.

What is the exact error are you getting when you try to run your existing 15.1 install?

If you still want to run a trial of EA 16, are you using the 32 or 64 bit edition? What is the exact error you are getting?
