Hi,
I have generated already with previous EA versions huge documents from the EA database. It always takes some time, but it worked. Now I did some changes in some diagrams in EA 16 and wanted to generate a docx with EA 16.0.1605. Unfortunately EA hangs up i.e. stops further progress after ~15-30min at one package at about overall 60% (indicated by the progress bar). I tried it multiple times, but even after 2h it stays there without further progress and Windows says "EA not responding". Unfortunately the displayed "hanging" package has a generic name, which is used multiple times in my database, so I cannot identify it to look for it.

Is there a log file or another possibility to see a more detailed progress information? Or does someone know how to "debug" such generation issues?

Sparxians just donb't know that word. The best are some bread crumbs you might find. Just report a bug since each new EA version comes with a shipload of new bugs. Banana software. Supposed to ripe at the customer's site.

I found out, that EA seems to "hang" at the last package (I added at the end a test package with specific name). This package has just a note. So I assume EA is stuck somehow during the final processing to create the DOCX. Any ideas what can go wrong there?

At a guess: send a bug report. Software is not supposed to "hang". If it does, the design is broken.
