How to avoid automatic display of compartments

Hello
If I have designed a nice diagram (e.g. BDD) and then add things like ports or parts to my classes/blocks, EA automatically adds new compartments and resizes the classes. This ruins the look of my diagram. Even if I then manually remove the compartments (either individually for classes or for the whole diagram), the resize is not undone. So my questions are:

• Is it possible to deactivate the automatic display of new compartments for a project?
• If not, is it at least possible to deactivate the automatic resizing of classes for a project
