V16.1 Diagram legend connectors colours not visible
« on: November 17, 2022, 11:34:25 pm »
I opened a diagram with a diagram legend showing colours for different types of connectors.
With EA16.1 (build 1621), the legend only shows the values but no coloured lines. It works fine for elements or with a previous build of EA.

The same issue is present for v16.0

Older diagrams that have legends based on tags did not display the default tag value

Need to research this, on 16.0 we have successfully used legends to change colour of connectors based on tag values defined as part of an MDG. Having said this, the diagram was created with v15.

The connectors change color just fine. You simply can't see the color anymore on the legend.

Hello all,

You can see them by setting the following option to 'Enhanced -2':
Preference | Appearance | Renderer

The default 'Enhanced -1' has other problems in drawing, I do not recommend to use the default option.
(I reported another 'Enhanced -1' issue before but not fixed on 1621)

HTH,

HTH,

Confirmed, thanks. I didn't know about the Enhanced issues.

What Geert said, but drawing a line in a Legend should not be dependent on the renderer.

It works with 'Basic' too, BTW.

Well in v16.0 (build 1605) 64-bit with "Enhanced-2" as the preference, several weird and, thankfully, non-destructive things happen with the connectors. For example, if you select everything in a diagram (Ctrl-A), deselect some elements, and reposition the rest using Shift-Left or Shift-Right a number of connectors become invisible while the operation is taking place (and only become visible after they deselected).

Oddly this does not happen with Shift-Up or Shift-Down.

Haven't yet try 16.1.

Same behaviour in 16.1.

It is fixed. Just tested it since I had the same issue.
