How do I re-enable the find command menu item
« on: January 06, 2023, 07:40:39 pm »
I have users that don't have this in their menu

How do I re-enable it?
I can't find the setting

It's only visible depending on your visual style.

You look like you're in the Office 2016 visual style, the other users can set their visual style to that.

A similar function can be found by clicking the EA icon at the bottom of that menu.

Wow, I wondered where that had gone,
now I know not to fiddle with visual styles (who knew they hid functionality!)

In office 2019 There is a big find command input which Sparx apparently didn't spot at first

I added a feature request (it would be nice if they would expand upon setting its default behavior towards a preset ctrl+f function)

Ctrl-F is for finding content in the model.
Alt-Q is for finding commands in the menu jungle.

I don't think its a good idea to change the Ctrl-F shortcut.
