OpenID issues with selfhosted EA
« on: April 10, 2023, 10:15:16 pm »
Hi

We had a working OpenID setup that created users automagically. But for some reason it doesn't seem to work anymore.

The Pro Cloud Server logs say something like this:

2023-04-10 04:48:27 [WARNING]: Thread 3090    Authentication - OpenID: OpenID user 'REDACTED' is not a valid user in model 'ssdb:REDACTED@REDACTED@REDACTED'.
2023-04-10 04:48:27 [WARNING]: Thread 3090    Authentication - OpenID: token is not valid for model

The user authenticates successfully against the OIDC provider, but I get this response. It was working fine before.

We are using:

Security Users -> Global Options -> Automatically create or modify OpenID users

Testing the "Configure Open ID" is successful.

When creating the user manually the user is created and it works.
