I'm not sure if I really understand your question, but you cannot reuse Pools Lanes or Activities in BPMN diagram.

Instead use the tagged values to reference a BPMN PartnerRole, or BPMN PartnerEntity

Can you provide a screenshot as in how you model it?
I hope it will clarify the question

Can you also clarify what insights you seek and want like to see in the future?
The reason for this question is whether we can determine if you should go to a more shared elements approach and if certain elements are excessive information and could be dropped entirely

Can you also clarify why you need to export for maintenance?

Think we need an example.

As Geert pointed out, Pools and Lanes should not be reused, if that is your question? In EA they act as containers for e.g. activities. I other words, all activities of all your processes will be placed under the same Pool/Lane in the model, introducing a maintenance nightmare. I had a client that did exactly that and even shared activities across processes, which is also bad practice.

I can recommend this tutorial: https://youtu.be/2tTb_TrInVM

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. 8)

Needed a bunch of scripts to clean up the mess :)

We started from scratch. The process library was out of date and needed to be reworked anyway + a new structure based on IFW and BIAN was implemented. We then decided that trying to clean up would not be worth the time and effort.

I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve, but you are using BPMN in a very creative fashion.

I don't even see a single BusinessProcess in your model.
And as mentioned, lanes should be nested underneath pools.

The basic sctructure for a BPMN model is

- Busines process
   - Pool
     - Lane
        - Activity

Interesting  use of the modelling on that diagram which I think is going to get real complex real quick. You may wish to take a pause and re-think who is the diagram for and what are you trying to achieve. Perhaps consider having a process framework and process workflow separately. Consider creating another diagram similar to business modell canvas to supplement with those other concepts such as kpi, data, risks, application etc. Suggest looking at BABoK and BizBoK for guidance on viewpoints to create.
Happy to help
