Deleting orphans that are not on a diagram
« on: July 24, 2023, 06:00:50 pm »
Currently I was cleaning up our EA Sparx repository. A very helpful tool is the Find orphans tool in the search menu. Most of the orphans the list provided I could delete by searching for them with the Find in project browers option. These items you can check ou and then delete. However I came up upon a few items where the Find in project browser otion was not selectable. Does anybody know how to delete these items from the repository?

Try a consistency check first. IIRC it deletes such orphans too. I guess you found those invisible element like fork/join. Writing a script is also possible, but is it worth the effort?
