Linked Document excluded due to RTF Filter

I have successfully implemented RTF Fragment Element Filters.  Unfortunately this RTF Fragment Element Filter has produced an unwanted side-effect. My RTF Fragment Element Filter is as follows:
Search In: Element Stereotype
Condition: One of
Look For: 'LPAR', 'LDOM', 'x87 VM'
Required: Yes

The package (that contains the diagram elements being filtered) contains a linked document, which was being included in the RTF Exported Report.  The side-effect is as follows: The linked document is being excluded from the RTF Exported Report
