ADODB.Recordset error running Project Transfer
« on: November 11, 2014, 08:47:39 pm »
Hi Everyone.

I've recently created a SQL Server EA Repository and attempted a project transfer of my EAP file into the Repository. It all went well until near the end when I had an error stating :-

An error occured.
ADODB.Recordset (-2146825069)

Operation now allowed in this context

I clicked OK and the error would not go away. After many clicks of OK, I gave up and clicked Cancel, and the transfer aborted.

However, my project does seem to have transferred and running a Project Integrity check found no problems.

What does this error mean and should I be concerned about it ?

thanks in advance.

Does this help: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5661060/how-to-resolve-an-error-after-importing-a-package-in-enterprse-architect-sparx-s?

Thanks Qwerty.

I had a read through and I'm not sure it does. However, after receiving this error, even though EA said it did not finish the import, ALL the elements of my model do actually seem to have imported correctly so it does not seem to have caused any issues.

If the issue still happens  you should send a bug report to Sparx (Tom O is one of the Sparxians so he should be aware of it).
