If Visio could read XMI then yes. Else you need to export the image.

Hi Pam,

I had similar requirement a while back.

You may want to check out this little add-in:
http://community.sparxsystems.com/community-resources/706-svg-diagram-export-add-in

You are able to manage the shapes to a degree. I have not upgraded since the original release, but it help me get to a desired outcome for a executive manager when I used it.
