Office Integration MDG Trial

I started looking at the Microsoft Office Integration, and have run into some problems.

First, is the functionality of the trial any different than the registered product? For example, I am able to import diagrams from an EAP file into a powerpoint. But when I connect to a SQLServer repository, it connects, but the project never appears. When I try the resynch it simply hangs indefinitely.

It also seems that the powerpoint freezes if EA itself is also running? Is this a known limitation?

This addon looks promising, but it's a little sticky at the moment.

A very incomplete answer from a non-affiliated user: Sparx tend not to limit the functionality of trial products, just the time you may use it. So I would guess it's the same as the full version.

Early releases being a bit rough around the edges is par for Sparx I'd say, but I'll also say that it's probably worth it to submit a support or bug request, especially if you're a registered EA user (which is free).

They usually respond quickly and the responder usually has very good knowledge of the product -- none of that "thank you for contacting us, we want you to know that your custom is important to us and could you please explain the problem you're having, and please fill out our customer satisfaction survey" bullpoo.
