MODAF DoDAF

Sparx provide two plugin that appear to provide very similar capabilities.

The first is the MDG Technology for DoDAF-MODAF
The second is the MDG Technology for UDPM that implements the Unified Profile for DoDAF and MODAF (UPDM) architectures.

If someone wanted to develop a MODAF (or DoDAF) architecture model which would be the best plugin to use and why? Or what criteria are relvent to plugin selection?

What would be the result if you load both plugins at once?

MDG Technology for DoDAF-MODAF in no longer maintained and was replaced by MDG Technology for UPDM.  The DoDAF-MODAF add-in is still available to download from our website for legacy reasons, however unless you require this old version for a specific purpose, we highly recommend that you use the UPDM add-in instead.  Do not install both DoDAF-MODAF and UPDM at the same time however as they can conflict.
