Templates package - features and limitations

Am I correct in understanding that I can have multiple renderings of the same element metatype, on a per diagram type basis?
For example, I could have a class with rectangle notation marked in a Class diagram, but with rectangle notation unmarked in an Object diagram.

Secondly, I cannot use the Templates package mechanism to set any relationship renderings.
