extend BPMN elements with custom tags

Hi

I need to add some custom tags to specific BPMN 2.0 elements (example to add tags to a pool or task). I want/need to setup EA so that i dont have to create new tags every time a create the element.

Can I do this? It seems such a simple request but i am really struggling. I found this help article, but i am stuck at the first step!!

You need to create your own MDG which extends BPMN (see here: http://community.sparxsystems.com/tutorials/552-24intro-to-creating-a-mdg-file). Once you understand the previously mentioned part you can go on with the link you found. So yes, that is possible.
