Change position of messages/calls in Sequence Di

Hi!
I have problems with editing Interaction Diagrams (Sequence Diagram). All the messages or calls that I add are always added at the end of an objects lifeline. How can I change this position? (moving up or down in the calling sequence) It is not necessary to know all interactions before starting to edit the diagram? Is it?

My next problem is: How can I get a lifeline for the already modelled object that I inserted? To insert and to interact with that object is not the problem, but just to show the visual presentation of the line.

I can just click on the message/call and drag it up or down the diagram.  When I release the mouse button it has changed the sequence.

...stupid me!
I chose the wrong diagram type. I missed that there is a special Sequence diagram and a Interaction diagram seems not to be what I wanted to do. It is a little confusing to have the objects for a sequence diagram under “Interation”.

I am having the same problem with build 739. I can create an interaction diagram but if I try to move a message by moving it with the mouse it just snaps back to its orginal place. I can move it within its sequence in the messages but I cannot change its position.

I don't know what special sequence diagram ulrich is talking about. I need this to work on the interaction diagrams.

Hi troutman!
You can choose the sequnece diagram, on the right side under behavioral, in the dialog where you choose the type of the new diagram you  want to create. (new Diagram -> Sequence) But I guest you found it already.
