Selecting appropriate model type
« on: December 16, 2004, 09:27:59 am »
We are using EA to develop a j2ee architecture, and are reaching design phase.  We have a number of models and work products under the Requirements and Analysis models, and are now trying to translate that into a software design model.

My question is, which diagram to use to take the base domain object model and to develop a set of services that are a collection of classes that in turn contain elements of the domain model and various service classes.

An example of this would be User services (amongst a larger list of Order, trading, Historical, and Snapshot services), which provide functionality such as login, authentication, profiles, and permissioning, as well as accessing the underlying domain model classes.

Thanks in advance,
