SPEM profile - use of Guidance
« on: April 26, 2005, 12:56:56 am »
Using the latest EA 4.51.751 with theSPEM profile, I have problems with the "Guidance" stereotype.
After dragging it from the resources view into a diagram I can enter a notes text, but it seems I have no chance to enter a name for this new element.
Does anybody have an idea of how to give a name?
Or is it a bug (either in the SPEM profile or in EA)?

Regards,

Stefan

Hi Stefan

A Guidance is a note  ;). A note hasn't a name or any other properties than the note text itself. So there is no way to define a name for a note.   :-/

Hope this helps.

True and false, ulb. A note is an element and in that respect has a name (and stereotype a.s.o) Open the properties window (Alt+1) and select the note. Now you can enter the name and whatever you need.

Now all we need is for the Sparxians to make them both optionally visible on the diagram! 8)

Thanks, it was simply (Alt1+1) what I was looking for.
