Stereotype question
« on: June 20, 2006, 11:33:23 am »
Hi,
can anyone please explain the following:
- In UML/Stereotypes I find Base Class as field and a column "Applies to" which obviously are related 1/1. Let this be UI :-/
- I can enter almost anything in Base Class, even "what is this used for?". There are already some values which let me think that the appropriate stereotype should appear at Class/Dependency and whatever is in there. So why can I enter here any string?
- Having assumed a correlation between the set "Applies to" and an element in EA, why in heaven do I see "entity" two times in the drop down for a class, when only one of them "Applies to" Class while the other one "Applies to" a "Business Class" ???
- And finally: How can I create a "Business Class" I can "Apply to" an entity stereotype?

So many questions. Where have I gone?

I thought pretty much the same things; as I spotted this when I asked the question on Stereotype groups.  But, I thought, Thomas doesn't post enough these days, so I'll let him ask the questions  ;D

Makes you wonder though?

That's obviously what happens when you stop working and start thinking. I should avoid that ;D

Edit:However, are there answers to my questions?
