The Synch pseudostate was deprecated in UML 2.0.

So what do we use now?

What do we do after that, Paolo?
No, you can't have it!

EA still provides the Synch State element for  Activity and Statecharts, but it doesn't allow multiplicity specification as UML 1.5 allows.  Apparently, EA views all Synch States to be unbounded.   :'(

I'd hate to have to use SendSignalActions to implement advanced synchronization of concurrent regions.  Or, would I have to use SendObjectActions?...

Why can I not find in the UML 2 Superstructure that the Synch State element has been deprecated?  ???
