BPMN Business Process
« on: October 25, 2007, 02:04:13 am »
Hello...

using EA v7.0, I get the following errors when conecting a sequence flow to a business process.  Can someone shed any light why this is not the correct relationship.

MVR800001 - error (<anonymous> (SequenceFlow)): BPMN Sequence Flow must have valid target element
MVR800001 - error (<anonymous> (SequenceFlow)): BPMN Sequence Flow must have valid source element
MVR800001 - error (<anonymous> (SequenceFlow)): BPMN Sequence Flow must have valid target element
MVR800001 - error (<anonymous> (SequenceFlow)): BPMN Sequence Flow must have valid source element
Validation complete - 4 error(s), 0 warning(s)

How did you set up the diagram in the first place?
No, you can't have it!

The BusinessProcess element is the container for the business process, not a BPMN flow object. SequenceFlows only connect flow objects. I think what you want are BPMN Activity elements.

How do we then show UML compliant relationship between business process in a high level process diagram
