Sequence diagram : Part decomposition
« on: July 13, 2012, 12:14:10 am »
Hi, All!
The sample of sequence diagram UML, where one object has more than one lifelines, is described here:
http://www.sparxsystems.com.au/resources/uml2_tutorial/uml2_sequencediagram.html  .

I didn't manage to make it with my Enterprise Architect (Trial):
adding embedded element "Port" to class didn't help. Couldn't you point me how to do it ?

Hard to tell from what you describe. Maybe it's because you're not creating instances. Try to ctrl-drag the element onto the sequence diagram and check Create Instance in the popup dialogue. If it's not that you need to elaborate on what you're actually doing.
