Data Architecture and Sparx EA

I have a new role as IT Data Architect. My client has numerous physical data models that need to be reconciled to one Enterprise Data Model. I want to investigate how Sparx EA can help. There are 5 foundations to Data Architecture:

1. Master Data Management
2. Enterprise Data Model
3. Meta Data Repository
4. Policies and Principles
5. Governance

How can Sparx EA help with these foundations to Data Architecture?

What you are basically asking is: How can a hammer help me build a house.

EA is a modelling tool. It can be used to make models in most modelling languages and methods.

What it doesn't do is prescribe a modelling method. So the first thing to do is look at which modelling method and modelling languages you want to use to model your system.
Then you look at which tools you can use.

So first you need to know what your house should look like and which materials and construction methods you are going to use. And only then you ask yourself how the hammer, or any other tool can be of use in this whole process.
