Showing stereotyped action pins
« on: December 16, 2015, 04:30:01 am »
SysML action pins may be stereotyped with an «optional» keyword.

Does EA allow this stereotyping to be displayed on diagrams? I have tried various diagram and tool settings but so far have had no luck in getting this information to display

It looks like EA generally suppresses the stereotypes on pins/ports. No idea why. If no Sparxians answers here (until say tomorrow) you should send a mail to Sparx support.

P.S. Sparxians: can you please fix your server? I get no return from when I post. Annoying!

From EA Support:

Unfortunately it's not currently possible to display the Actions Pin's stereotype as expected. Our developers have confirmed that this is a bug and it is logged to be fixed. We cannot yet say when (in which build) the fix will be implemented.

As a work-around, you can apply a shape script to your stereotype. For example:

shape label
{
 println("«#stereotype#»");
 println("#name#");
}

See the "Shape Scripts" help topic for more information.
