Status Colors not chaning on Requirements

Simple issue.  When I change the status on a Requirement, the color is not changing.  I double-checked all of the Status colors and truied a new one - no luck.
Am I missing something?

Hi Keith,

I suspect you have stumbled over a small 'gotcha' in how EA sets these colors up. You may not have status colors enabled. And sometimes the status colors themselves are not set up for the element types you want.

To enable status colors in the first place, open the Tools | Options | Objects dialog. Ensure that you have checked the option named Show status colors on diagrams.

If that does not help, open the Settings | General Types dialog. It should default to the Status tab; click the tab if it does not. Click the Applies to button, and ensure that the elements you are using are checked.

Note that most element types - things like classes - will not show the status color unless you also have shadows enabled, since the shadow is what gets the color. You can do this via the Tools | Options | Objects dialog.

I have tried to eliminate the 'gotcha' by putting cross references and explanations in the various Status Types, Options and Requirements topics. Look for that in the next release....
