Removing unwanted transforms from repository
« on: March 25, 2008, 10:43:35 am »
Hi,

have been using EA Transforms to generate physical data models for ORACLE DB... have a number of tramsform versions and want to remove unwanted ones...

Also I cannot import a Transform to production EA DB that I modified in a DEV EAP... would like to replace the existing version, but cannot delete it.... can anyone help me here?

1. Deleting each template in the transform editor.  Note that the dropdown for transformations won't remove entries until you close and re-open the editor.  If this is too laborious you could use a direct sql call (with appropriate backups...)

2. Have a look at Tools | Import/Export Reference Data.
