to long lines in source control export

Hi,
we have a problem with EA source control integration. We use MKS as source control tool. Some xml files generated by EA has very long lines, from MKS point of view, to long lines. If the line length exceeds a specific (unknown) length, MKS is not able to process the checkin operation because it interprets the file as binary file. Is there any possibility to limit line length? Do you know which parts of the EA-Model lead to long lines? Any idea for workaround?

Perhaps you could run the EA output through an XSLT transform. EA may be able to do this for you. There's been a recent report in the forum concerning trouble with this feature, but I don't know if this would affect your situation.
