Stereotype import from RSM

When I import a model from IBM's Rational Software Modeler, all elements and packages get the <<Extended_DM_Package_TVS>> stereotype, which was not present in the RSM model.

Does anyone know what does this stereotype represent and why is it attached to the imported model?
Is there any way to prevent this 'enhancement' of the model?
Is it safe to delete it from the EA model?

I think I should say that the RSM model was itself imported from a model created in the old XDE.
