How to order tests generated in RTF document
« on: September 24, 2008, 11:51:25 pm »
Our testing documentation is entered and maintained in the model’s testing window for each relevant element, and we use RTF document generation to print it. The problem is that there is usually a logical progression for the tests, and they are entered in that order. However, there doesn’t seem to be any way to ensure that the order of the tests in the generated documents is the same as the order of the tests in the testing window, with or without auto-numbering.
Re-ordering the generated document every time it is generated is time consuming. Does anyone know of a way to control the order in which the tests are generated in the RTF document?

I read something similar here: http://www.sparxsystems.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1221737115/5#5

Don't know what the problem could be, but did you look at what is configured when you enter the "Generate RTF documentation" menu under tab "Options"?

There is also something stated which has to do with ordering.

Hope it is of any help.
