Corrupt installation detected

I'm trying to install EA 7.1 and I get the error "Corrupt installation detected, check source media or re-download." Does this mean that the installer is corrupted or that there's something wrong on my machine?

I had version 7.0 installed and strangely enough, the installer for 7.1 didn't complain until after it had uninstalled version 7.0. If the problem is with a checksum on the installer, I would suggest that this check be executed *before* uninstalling the previous version.

Fixed.

It seems it was a problem with the installer. I downloaded another and it worked. I still feel that the installer should have verified the checksum _before_ uninstalling the previous version.
