An Error has occured: Unrecognized database format
« on: July 06, 2019, 01:25:36 am »
Working on a local file.  Lots of panes open.  Went to shut down SPARX EA Ultimate.  Thought it a bit strange it wanted me to save and close all the panes.  I did.

Later, I opened = or tried to open the file.  THat's when I got the error.

I **CAN NOT** get it to open.  I even, per the popup error message tried using Jet 4.  No joy.

HELP!

Oh yes: SPARX EA Ultimate 15.0.1503

The best option is to simply use your backup.

If you don't have a backup, your first step should be to setup some kind of backup system.

Then you can try to use the .eap repair option.

Open EA without opening a model and go to:

Configure | Model | Integrity | Manage .EAPX/.EAP file | Repair .EAPX/.EAP file
