diagram legend empty after save and re-open

Hi all!

I create an UML diagram legend via context menu: Create element or connector/Common Elements/Diagram Legend. Then I can fill the legend via properties window.

So far, everything is fine.

But when I save the diagram, close and re-open it, the legend is still there but it is empty. All my entries are gone.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I use EA Corporate Edition 6.5.802.

This might be a silly question, but did you save the legend in the Properties dialog before you exited the dialog and closed the diagram? I don't have release 6.5 to check; I'd hope that the dialog wouldn't let you exit without saving.

Hi Peter,

I remember this issue poking its head up a while back. From what I remember it was related to a problem with the MS Jet Driver (of all things) when performing certain queries in certain conditions.

Can you please configure EA to use the Jet 4 driver (see http://www.sparxsystems.com/uml_tool_guide/uml_modeling_tool_features/generalsettings.html) and see if that works.

You are warned if you have unsaved changes. And if you don't save, then the legend doesn't show your entries at all. So that's not the problem...

PS: My late reply is because I was not notified about your reply. I think I checked the "I want to be notified..."

Hey, that's it! I checked the "Use JET 4.0", restarted EA, re-opened the project, and there appeared my legend
