UML Patterns generation
« on: December 06, 2008, 01:43:18 am »
I have the following error while trying to open UML pattern.
Code = 0xc00e553
Source = Line : 0; Char : 0
Error Description = Teh following tags were not closed:
XMI, XMI.Extensions,UMLPattern, UMLPatternImage.

I did a lot of patterns in the past without any problem.
I am using 834

The questions is:
What are the restrictions/guidelines while creating UML Patterns?

Hi Remek,

This sounds serious. It is also something that should have shown up before if it had been around.

[edit]Please see the following post.[/edit]
Please report this bug to Sparx immediately. Use the Report a Bug link below the Support link near the bottom of any forum page.

There seems to be at least one other bug showing up in XMI using Build 834. It is vital that we get these resolved before Sparx goes into the internal testing phase of EA 7.5. Once that happens there is likely to be a long period between builds; after that Sparx will be somewhat distracted by resolving issues that show up in the new version.

David,
I have made one mistake in my post.
I told that the problem is for 834. In fact it was 833.
I did the upgrade to 834 and the problem disapeared without any changes in diagrams.
