We are using Enterprise Architect 7.0 version with Database workspace model. We are facing Timeout expired issue faced by number of our development team members. Please find below the Screen capture of the same.

Environment :

Database :                                SQL Server 2005
Developer’s machine OS :        Windows Vista Business

Please advice

No image came through.

As a long shot - I am guessing without any context, so this could be completely off base - perhaps you have a large model stored as a DBMS repository that EA is taking too long to load. There are known issues when models get fairly big; EA can be 'chatty' with the database.

This might work:

Try establishing a new Windows data source, or editing the data source file if you know how. For some [most, all?] servers there is a setting for how long they will wait on initial connection before timing out. I think the default for SQL Server might be 30 seconds (or something like that). EA could be timing out on that initial connection window. Try making it a lot longer - just make sure that you can wait that long when testing - and see if EA connects successfully. If it does then set the timeout a bit longer than it was originally, and work up. When you finally get it working, add a bit more time as a buffer.
No, you can't have it!

Depends on your configuration.

Try walking through creating a new connection to one of your repositories. The dialogs let you create a DSN file, or use one already on your machine. Perhaps you will see the one you are already using. If not, you can always create a new one, copy it to other machines, then reference it directly.
