Import from SQL into Data Models
« on: March 23, 2009, 10:19:12 pm »
I am hoping to reverse engineer the SQl DDL files I have into a data model within EA.  But, I can't seem to find an easy way to do this.  It looks like I could do this via an ODBC connection to the actual DB but that isn't an option.

Any help would be greatfully received.

Hi Pete,

Sorry, but as far as I know that's the only option for importing a model.

Perhaps things will have changed for EA 7.5, but I have not tried it as yet.

[I don't remember any compelling indication that this might have changed, but I could have missed it. Has anyone got firm information either way?]

No, you can't have it!
