Paste Element from Project Browser

First of all: My customer is using Enterprise Architect v 7.0.817 (Build 817).

My issue:
I used to be able to paste an element from the Project Browser into my diagram as part of another class with the help of the "Paste Element" pop up, and choosing "As part" (other option was "As port"). But as of from yesterday these choices never show, I am only giving the following choices: "as Simple Link", "as Instance of Element (Object)", and "as New Child (Generalization)".

Consequently I am no longer able to make internal structure diagrams.

I have searched all over the place, and double-checked the options, to no avail.

Anyone knows the solution to this?

Looks like you checked the "never ask again" box on the first dialog.  You can get it back by dragging an element with the Ctrl-key pressed and can then uncheck the box.

But I am afraid I'v tried that, and it did not help. It did toggle on/off the "as Simple Link" etc dialog, however.

As to the showing of the "Simple Link etc" dialog, it corresponds to the "Tools - Options- Diagram - Behavior - Auto Instance" setting. But don't ask me to which setting the showing of the "Part/Port/Neither" dialog corresponds, I can't seem to find it either.

I don't remember as far back as 7.0.817 but there used to be a problem with this functionality where ticking "Never Ask Again" really needed to be taken literally - it would never ask again after you ticked it. The only way to get the dialog back was to go into regedit and find and delete/modify the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sparx Systems\EA400\EA\OPTIONS\NO_PORT_PROMPT.  This appears to have been fixed (7.5.843) so that Ctrl+Dragging brings the dialog back without having to touch the registry.
