stereotype display error on collaborations
« on: April 21, 2009, 04:37:27 pm »
When resizing a collaboration with a long name the stereotype is being displayed multiple times.

Steps to reproduce:
- Create a collaboration with a very long name
- Add a stereotype to the collaboration
- Put the collaboration on a diagram
- Try to resize the collaboration by pulling the bottom up
- Notice that the stereotype is diplayed twice.
- Try resizing again and each time a new stereotype display is added.

If reported this to sparx as well.

Proably related to this issue is the fact that you cannot resize collaborations as you can with use cases. The minimum size of the collaboration is limited by the length of the name, and this name does not get wrapped.
With usecases this works as expected, you can resize the usecase with the long name and it wraps the name, and even allows the name to be displayed outside the ellips.
Ok, I'll whisper ***consistency consistency consistency***

This was fixed in EA 7.5 build 844.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I can confirm that the stereotype issue is fixed in 844. (damn, that means we have to create a new distribution)  :(
The issue with the wrapping is still the same though.
Maybe that ought to be a change request, to have all diagram objects behave like the use case with regards to resizing and wrapping of the name?
