Export to xml does not export embedded images.
« on: May 06, 2009, 01:32:22 am »
Hi, I'm using build 7.5.843 and I am having trouble with export to xml.

The problem is that the model I have has some images in one of the diagrams. These were pasted in from the clipboard.
When I export the model to xml and re-import into another project everything seems to work fine except the images don't appear?

Is there an export option I am missing?

Many Thanks
Andy.

Hi Simon, thanks for the reply!

That almost worked but there was a slight problem.

I export from the first project to an xml. I selected Export Reference Data and Model Images.

On the project I wanted to import into I selected Import Reference Data, selected the file I exported, selected the Model Images data set and imported.

All the images except the first image appeared and the rest of the images were then placed all one out of sequence so their aspect ratio was incorrect.

Is there anything else I could be doing wrong or is there a bug here?

Andy.
I can

Don't know what could have caused that.

Probably best to contact Sparx Support via the bug report for for someone to look at it.
