Label layout changes when zooming

When zooming in or out a diagram, some label layout changes happen(if the label could fit on one line, after zooming out, it will fit on two lines). For example, if I add an entry point to a state on a StateMachine diagram and set its label to fit on a single line, when I zoom out and then zoom in, that label might now be displayed on two lines.

Does someone have an idea to avoid those labels loosing their initial layout?

I have had the same problem and have tried altering the diagram settings under options to no avail.  it is a particularly frustrating feature of EA.  In fact, often you don't even need to zoom in or out for the labels to change orientation - just the mere fact of working on another, non related diagram will ofter cause instability in other diagrams.
