Build 846: eaapi.jar not upgraded
« on: July 15, 2009, 05:06:28 pm »
846 has just been released and the first issue is here  :o
The eaapi.jar with the JAVA API has obviously not been upgraded to build 846 as the DeleteBaseline method is missing from the Project class.
In the VisualBasic API the method is present.
And I was so happy when I found that method in the release notes  :-[

Did you do a full install or just a patch? I am not sure whether the Java components are updated in both.
No, you can't have it!

That was a full install, no patches involved.

btw, the Readme in the API folder states:
Code: [Select]
Enterprise Architect 6.5 Java API Readme
I hope that this is just an unupdated README  :o

Feedback from Sparx

As you have observed, the DeleteBaseline method unfortunately does not appear to have been properly implemented in the Java API for build 846.
We have logged this issue and will fix this as soon as possible.

Issue ID: 09072786

Bad luck for me as I had been jumping up and down for joy after seeing this method finally appear in the release notes :'(

At least the good news is that Sparx cares about such issues  8-)
The other thing is that several bug reports are still unanswered.  ::)
