Controlled Package Dependencies

Hello,
We are controlling several packages with Perforce that have several links between them.

We want to create a new EAP file and import a specific controlled package. When we get that package (Package Control | Get Package), some diagrams are missing elements that are located in other external controlled packages. If we also get those external packages, diagrams now displays all correct information. Nevertheless, we would have expected that EA reports missing external links when we import a package that has missing external elements referenced.

Is there a way to get a report that would indicate what external elements referenced in a given controlled package are missing? Or maybe we are not using the controlled package feature in a correct fashion?
