EA and svn: lost visual/graphical information
« on: August 06, 2009, 05:40:23 pm »
Hello everyone,

when using EA with Subversion I had an unexpected behavior of EA:

The background is an EA model with a hierarchical structure and every packages independent of its hierarchy level is under version control.

When I check out on of the top hierarchy packages and perform an "undo check out" sometimes some of the information of models in lower hierarchies is not display in EA anymore.

It is still in SVN as I can check out the package with the missing information and perform an "undo check out" there: EA will show the missing information again.

Probably "Get Latest" will recover the shown model as well. I'll check this.

Has anybody experienced a similar behavior? Or is there a problem with my EA model/file? How can I verify my EA model? Is there a possibility for a consistency check?

Best wishes,
Martin

P.S.: Reloading the EA-Model (with the file options) doesn't help.

It seems that my problem is related to:

Handling of nested controlled packages - http://www.sparxsystems.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1214575209

rsp.

Version control - lost relations - http://www.sparxsystems.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1215342502/0#0

Is this problem solved? If so in which version?
