Spell check then EA not responding

In recent 7.5 versions of EA is anyone else having an issue with the spell check (project or package) getting a long way into the check, then hanging (100% CPU on one core) and not responding to user input (eg Cancel), and having to be killed (I hate to think what this does to the repository)

Oddly enough I was just reading this in the middle of a spell checking operation .. and yes I have the same problem (on 7.5.848).

The package I was checking had a number of sub-packages - so I'm probably going to check one at time until there is a fix.
