Default database type
« on: October 28, 2009, 01:32:35 am »
I am a relatively new user of EA and only just stepping into data modeling.  In explaining how to create columns for a table (http://www.sparxsystems.com/uml_tool_guide/data_modeling/createcolumns.html) the doc says that you can set a default database type to obviate having to set it for each table you add.  The docs refer you to http://www.sparxsystems.com/uml_tool_guide/data_modeling/o411.html, however there is no information there on how to set the default database type.

Can you help?

That appears to be a rogue link. It should point to:

http://www.sparxsystems.com/uml_tool_guide/uml_modeling_tool_features/codetoolbar.html

or

http://www.sparxsystems.com/uml_tool_guide/code_engineering/cgo_editor.html

Apologies.
Hi Roy,

Since there's only one link and two possible targets, have you decided which one it should point to?   ;)

(yes, " 'es avin' a laff!")  ;D
