Author Topic: Problem with MDG Integration for VS2005 (Read 4814 times)

Hi,

I have setup my computer from scratch. Then I have installed VS2005, EA and MDG Integration for Visual Studion 2005 in this order.

Now when I want to create or connect to an EA Project from Visual Studio I get always an error - ...an unknown error occurred...

The operating system is XP Professional on an Dual Pentium D840 system. Are there any known problems with EA on such configuration?

I have also Norton Internet Security installed on this system. Switching this off does not solve my problem. (Some times norton can make troubles!)

Has anybody an idee what's going wrong on my system.

Which Version of VS 2005 ?

I use the same configuration and with me everything run error free. Please publish the full error message

I assume, you used the RTM Version from VS 2005. MDG Integrate for VS 2005 does not support Beta Versions

Hi Oliver

It seems i could solve the problem. But I don't really know what was wrong. I found an error file in my application data for sparx, which has pointed to an tcp-Exception. I have deleted this file and I also removed MS-Messanger and Skype from startup process. (Skype makes also troubles with IIS!) Now every thing works fine.
