Section numbers & TOC wrong in generated RTF docs
« on: December 30, 2009, 08:18:31 am »
I've the following problem generating RTF documentation with EA 7.5.850.

If there is a diagram, which doesn't fit to one page and has the "Divider Diagram into Multiple Pages" option set, errors will be generated into chapter or section title numbers and therefore also in the table of contents. E.g. a section should named like 1.3.4 but is is named like 1.3.0.0.4.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem and can help or is this a bug in my template or EA?

Here several links to example files:

You can generate the document selecting the package and using the RTF-template "BUG_IN_TOC". As you can see in the TOC the element "Activity - "Activity 5"" has an error in its section number. It is 2.3.0.1, but should be only 2.4 (see Erroneous RTF-document).

If you only change the property "Divider Diagram into Multiple Pages" of diagram "test uc 2 page diagram" and regenerate the RTF-doc then everything is right (see Expected, correct RTF-document).

Thanks for help in advance  :-[

You joining a less than select group who have encountered issues in this area.

The best thing to do is report this as a issue (see Support - Report a bug) on the footer of this forum page).
