Difference between upper- and lowercase stereotype
« on: January 12, 2010, 10:29:14 pm »
Dear All,
Some time ago I've created a UML Profile with a stereotype definition. Everything was working fine until couple of days ago - now whenever I want to use the stereotype it starts with a lowercase letter although in the profile its definition starts with a capital letter.
Does anyone know a solution to this anoying problem?

Hi Piotr,

Check Settings|UML...|Stereotypes to see if there's an entry there.

It's now my understanding (from discussion with Sparx) that if you create a stereotype in a profile, there won't be an entry in the stereotypes table (above).  So if there is one there, it's an interloper.

HTH,
Paolo
