Assembly - Lateral style bug
« on: January 31, 2010, 04:13:08 pm »
The assembly connector has a number of issues (see: Assembly doesn't respond to shape main for example).  Allied to this problem, I believe, is the following bug:

The Assembly connector doesn't respond correctly to the Lateral line style.  Indeed, the segment that contains the "original" often can't be selected because the selection arc is NOT where the visible line runs.

Additionally, I (for one) would have expected that the ball and socket connector would be close to the the direction change.  But I guess, it's reasonable the way it is.

However, more problematic is that the location of the non-assembly segment is always at the target end.  There doesn't seem to be any way to change this.
