Built in web browser cache
« on: February 03, 2010, 04:08:28 am »
I've noticed that EA's build in browser doesn't always query the web server to determine if a file has changed. I have sequence diagrams with hyperlinks to an IIS Virtual Directory. I noticed that when I make changes to the associated target html, the changes were not always immediately visible. This is even after closing the built in browser window before double clicking the hyperlink.

I used Wireshark to view the http traffic and noticed that when I double clicked on the hyperlink in the sequence diagram, EA often didn't send a request to the web server but instead just displayed the previous version.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Mike

I don't know, other than it's just IE, so check your IE settings.

You may be right about IE. I've noticed the same problem occurring ocassionally with IE 8.0.

It's only a nusiance while editing the html.
