Inconsistent Name/Alias Rendering
« on: March 09, 2010, 06:59:14 pm »
If you use Tools | Options | Diagram | Behavior and set the Alias Usage option to Alias and Name.

For packages, there is NO separating space between the alias and the name:  (Alias)Package.
But if the package is included in its parent the package shows as:
+ (Alias) Package
That is, with the separating space.  All renderings of the Alias and Name should have the separating space.  It looks wrong without it...

Steps:
Create Parent package with alias and name.
Create child package with alias and name.

Drag parent package onto diagram.

Observe incopnsistency betwen parent and child package name rendering.
